The evening was opened by Headteacher, Ged Ward, who welcomed the guests. Over 30 ex-students, along with their family members and friends, were present to receive their certificates.

Following the main presentation, there were two musical performances from current and former students. Bethan Rimmer (ex year 13) sang ‘Over the Rainbow’ and a group of current students - Lucy Warne (Year 11) vocals, Poppy Wilkinson (Year 11) flute, Dewi Chappell (Year 12) guitar, Josh Wayles (Year 12) bass, Elspeth Sage and Kirsty Lomax (both year 9) congas – performed ‘Seven Days’.

There were six special presentations. Aimee Howard and Alex Terry won awards for ‘Service to the School’. Tom Cottom won the ‘School Production Trophy’. Kirsty Donald won an award for her Art & Design A Level – her result placed her in the top 5 students in the country. Finally, the awards for best overall A Level results were presented to Georgia De Vicq and Tim Pattison.

The evening ended with refreshments and time for an informal chat and to catch up with the former students and members of staff.
