Students Perform West Side Story!

Macclesfield High School students performed West Side Story to packed audiences on 8th and 9th July.  Months of rehearsals and hard work by staff and students alike paid off and parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were all treated to an amazingly professional performance from students aged 11 to 18. 

Mr Harrison said: “One parent thanked me for making each member of the cast feel, sound and look like a star.  I would simply add that they did that for themselves by turning up for rehearsals week after week, learning their lines, and demonstrating pride and commitment in their individual performances.  This dedication and determination to put on a good show resulted in an excellent production of which they should all be very proud”.
