Assessment: Students are required to undertake a practical exam, comprising of a minimum of 4 different activities. This is worth 60% of the course. The theoretical understanding of sport and exercise is examined by way of a written paper worth 40% of the course.
Coursework: Students complete a Personal Exercise Plan.
Content of Course: The following areas are studied during the course: Bones, Muscles, Circulatory System and Respiratory System. Students are continually assessed on these areas throughout the course.
